Kinder
At TeLC we have seperate 3 and 4 year old kinder programs. We believe in maintaining high expectations for every child and valuing the child’s voice, their right to be heard and be included in the planning process. Children are recognised for their strengths and motivated to accept new challenges to grow and learn.
Sessions start at 8:00am and conclude at 4:30pm Tuesday – Friday. Long day care is available outside of these hours, including on Mondays.
Children attending either of our Kinder programs need to attend a minimum of 2 days per week to receive the required 15 hours of funded Kinder.
Excursions and incursions
Regular excursions and incursions are part of our kinder programs. These may differ from year to year, depending on children’s interests but may include;
Excursions:
- Library
- School Visits
- Geelong Hospital
- Narana
- Local firestation
Incursions:
- Bravehearts personal safety program
- Responsible pet program
- Local dentist visit
- Wildlife Exposure
- Emergency services
- Museum Victoria Outreach Program
- Live Eggs chicken hatching
