Our aim is to give our children the best start in life and support their bodies with all the nutrition that help them grow healthily.

Community connection

Torquay early Learning Centre is a community based not for profit organisation with a high community sense. Being located between two primary schools (Torquay Collage and St Therese), the SES next door and the local library a short walking distance away. We like to foster this connection through regular visits, that help our children staying connected with the place they live in.

Developmental Screenings

As an early childhood education centre our children’s learning and development is one of our main concerns. We work alongside the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and ACECQA’s Developmental Milestones. We are observing children’s development daily and appreciate our relationship with you as parent to communicate children’s development at pick up and drop off. Twice a year, we summaries your child’s development in a summative assessment and discuss this you as needed.

Additionally, we do invite speech therapists for a developmental screen and are in close contact with our Maternal Child Health Nurses next door.

Extra Curricular Services

Happy Feet and Heydeeho programs are a regular part of our program here at Torquay Early Learning Centre, which we do not charge additionally.

Happy Feet is a playful, fun filled and motivating program, which educates children about a range of topics. Heydeeho’s programs at TeLC focus on movement and activity.
