Acknowledgement of Country

Torquay Early Learning Centre would like to respectfully acknowledge the past and present traditional custodians of this land, the Wadawurrung people. We would also like to pay our respects to Elders past, present and future of the Kulin Nations.
We also acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians and Non-Aboriginal Australians to the education of all children and people that live on and share this country.
It is a privilege to be standing on Wadawurrung Country.

Our three year old kindergarten children celebrated their year of learning last week by welcoming their family and friends into their room and outdoor play space.
Thank you to Sally, Julia, Briony, Bree and Jenna for ensuring our 3 year old kindergarten children had such a great year of learning and fun.

This week we revealed our rooms for 2024 with a sweet treat for our educators containing a hidden note to reveal their new rooms.
We can’t wait to see what the new year brings us and are looking forward to welcoming back some of our educators who have been on leave.

Painting is a way for children to do many important things convey ideas, express emotion, use their sense, explore colour, explore process and outcomes and create their own work and experiences.
