Torquay Early Learning Centre would like to respectfully acknowledge the past and present traditional custodians of this land, the Wadawurrung people. We would also like to pay our respects to Elders past, present and future of the Kulin Nations.
We also acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians and Non-Aboriginal Australians to the education of all children and people that live on and share this country.
It is a privilege to be standing on Wadawurrung Country.

Covid-19 update
TeLC is following guidance from the Department of Education and Training and will remain open during the lockdown period.
Families will be required to wear masks when dropping-off and picking-up children from the Centre.
If a child is unwell, even with the mildest of symptoms, they must stay at home.
If a child becomes unwell during the day, they must be collected from early childhood education and care as soon as possible.
If a child has any of the symptoms of COVID-19, however mild, they should get tested and they must remain at home until they receive their results
Symptoms include:
- fever
- chills or sweats
- cough
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- runny nose
- loss of sense of smell or taste.
